Two added the librarian...
I see Chase and Rebecca added the librarian to their permissions. Be sure to invite your teacher in the permissions space of your blog. Go to "settings" then "permissions" then you can add his email. Feel free to add mine to if you like. You can see this coming Wednesday's lesson on my blog under "MAS" on the right side of my page....
Enjoy day two of Chem Tuesday!

MAS database (Magazine Article Summaries)
To get to our databases in the library, you have to log in to our school website, then go to:
"libraries"
"Robert Young Libraries"
then click
"databases" on the left and you'll see them in alphabetical order.
Go to "MAS-Ultra" and you're there!
Click on "advanced search" and then you can limit your search to the Economist magazine simply by typing "economist" where it says publication as seen below:
then type your search words in the main search box and go!
After you search once, try clicking on "subject" on the left hand side of the screen - and limit your date range - to see if you get more specific results.
By clicking on the subjects, you are telling the database to only show you articles that have been tagged with those subjects. Changing your keywords will give you different subject tags...

Chemistry visits the library
I know JF will be bringing you to the library tomorrow for the first day, so I'm trying out some of the blogging action as well.
